High-Interest Reading

The kids are really into these Ten True Tales books from Allen Zullo. I bought a pack from Scholastic and there is a waitlist to read them! Especially fitting around Remembrance Day, the students have asked if they can research a famous battle/war vehicle/veteran and present to the class. Why not?! This is the highest investment in their own learning that I have seen this school year and I am really proud of them! After Wednesday, I am going to drop everything and the students will be creating their own research projects.
