Next, we participated in several prior knowledge activities; leading up to student- created definitions of each angle. Next, we searched the classroom for an example of each angle. Students worked against the clock to record one example of each while moving around the room.
Finally, we introduced the protractor as a measurement tool. We took to the playground to find examples of angles around the school property. What a fun Friday we had today!
acute angle - 70 degrees obtuse angle - 140 degrees right angle - 90 degrees
obtuse angle - 140 degrees right angle - 90 degrees reflex angle - 270 degrees
