First Field Trip to National Forest Week in Port Alberni
Most students were able to attend (I was missing three)
We had a pancake breakfast, then visited the different booths, asking questions from our recording sheet and collecting balloons, pencils, stickers, and pins. One student entered her grandma into a prize draw and she received a call that night saying she had won a hat! We were only at the event for the morning as a tester field trip. The students generally responded well and I look forward to our next field trip!
