Grade 5/6 UPDATE

I am just waiting for photo permissions for students from Ms. Carolyn's class before I am able to post photos from our trip to Victoria on March 13th. Here is a sneak peak: "Are we there yet?"

We are SO very lucky to have found the funds to make the three day trip to Bamfield this year. Students will be collecting their virtues throughout the month of April to earn their big trip. Permission forms will be handed out on Monday and are expected to be returned by Friday at the latest in order to confirm numbers with the Marine Station. We will have many adults attending (1 female / 3 males). With 14 students, this is an AWESOME ratio! I look forward to our pre-trip planning. With a focus on "Marine Adaptations," "Traditional Nuu-chah-nulth Culture," and "Natural Diversity," students will engage in meaningful learning through hands-on experiences.

In other news, Track and Field will be starting soon. Students who are interested will be training with Ms. Doerksen on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. This means that Lego Club will not be in session for the duration of our training period.
